Gosder Cherilus should go much higher IMO.

Zero chance the Ravens pass on a QB like Brohm given their excellence at the position...

I am with most Bills fans who don't regard CB as a need for the Bills at all. Terrence McGee has raised the level of play to the point where Chad Johnson singled him out as one of the better CBs he's faced. In addition, the Bills have gotten solid play from 25 year old Jabari Greer. Ashton Youboty has played well in three starts he's had this year. I don't think the Bills would hesitate to start him, except that Greer has played so well. In addition the Bills have gotten steady play from Kiwaukee Thomas in the nickel position, and Jerametrius Butler has played well when he's been on the field. He's a former starter with the Rams. Then you can add Jason Webster to the mix. He went on IR just before the season started. There are other areas where the Bills have far more need than CB.

I think the Raiders will pick second.

Anonymous said...

everybody forgets with the Bears that their 2nd most important player on defense is Mike Brown at SS... hes finished and the D isn't so great now... if Phillips is available, the Bears will take him

Anonymous said...

KC has LJ dumbfuck

Anonymous said...

The Jets would pass on McFadden like... never. Letting the Patriots have him is like saying "okay, we'll win the division again around 2016".

Anonymous said...

Gregory--

Not to be facetious, but you're assuming that the Jets have a say in the matter; at the moment, IF the Pats want McFadden, the only way the Jets can get him is to trade up to #1.

Anonymous said...

right now the raiders are picking second and mcfadden is definitely on their radar. the only way belichek gets him is if davis fumbles the pick a la robert gallery.

hailtothevictor said...

dude did you read my post i have NE picking before oakland.

hailtothevictor said...

wow actually ronnie brown is probably one of the best players on the dolphins.

Anonymous said...

Don't be shocked if the Bills opt to select Woodson at QB, I simply feel that they are going to feel Edwards is in the mold of Frank Reich, and the primary signal caller will be a 1st rounder! Just some food for thought...

From John B. in Phoenix

hailtothevictor said...

yeah that is possible but i think the bills will stick with losman or edwards. And a good receiver will help the quarterback and give the bills another target to play alongside lee evans

sorry i accidentally messed up geez

I like the Cowboys first pick (through CLE) of Early Doucet, but I'm having a little trouble with Jeff Otah as their #31 pick. The Boys already have a healthy stable of back-up O-line built through the last few drafts in Pat McQuistan, James Marten and Doug Free. Obviously value and re-signing Flozell Adams will play a big part, but I could see them going CB or RB on this pick.

Anonymous said...

I like that you have Houston taking Stewart but do you think that they might get DeSean Jackson or Kenny Phillips. I am only saying that because I would love to have either one of them

Anonymous said...

Lion needs. If there is a great DE or DT available at their pick, they will probably do either over DBs. They run the Tampa 2, you know, and Marinelli has already made it clear he's not happy with the way the d-line has played. I think this would be his point of emphasis.

Thanks for the mock, keep up the good work ...and dismiss the trolls who really have nothing to add, and suck at life so they try to take everyone else down.

Baltimore needs a QB, look for Brian brohm or matt ryan if he is still there....Also i will not be surprised to see minnesota go offense with there pick perhaps even go for a QB but if they dont get a QB this round they will get one in the 2 or 3 perhaps colt brennan.....I dont see dallas going after a WR with their first pick they have other needs and TO, Patrick Clayton and Jason witten have been very targetable and finally the packers will not get a RB with this pick they have Ryan Grant, look for them to improve their offensive line or get a pass rusher

Anonymous said...

As a Seahawk fan I don't see them taking a WR in the 1st round. If, like your mock, Felix Jones is available that would be a more likly pick.
Also a lot rides on wheter or not they resign two of their prime free agents, CB Marcus Trufant and OT Sean Locklear.

Anonymous said...

the 49ers would never pass on jeff otah ..they will probably pick up a wide out in FA anyway

Anonymous said...

Where is Colt Brennan in this???
Is there anychance that the rams will get Glen Dorsey, Matt Ryan, or take a chance with Colt Brennan???

Anonymous said...

The Pats do not have the second pick. They will not be able to get Dmac...your mock sucks

Anonymous said...

knowing belichick the pats will trade the pick and take a ILB or a saftey

Anonymous said...

Someone answer TigerDude72's coment. im interested in it.

The Seahawks don't need a WR. Their receiving corps are strong and they have a few good WRs in the practice squad. Seattle needs OT/OG badly. Their running game suffers because of the OL woes. They also need a TE, but that's a second priority for now. A decent TE may be found in later rounds.

Anonymous said...

I know that the vikings need some secondary but i juct dont see them passing up on limas sweed or another big named receiver if they are available. also i think that they will take brennan in the second round

Anonymous said...

Mcfadden won't be available @ #7, Jets won't let him fall to NE & Felix Jones is coming out & J.Jones would pick him w/1 of the 2Cowboys pick if available.

Anonymous said...

i can see miami trading down.. with so many holes to fill a 1 overall pick isn't going to matter..

Anonymous said...

The KC Chiefs should have at least one of top 4 pick if they lose to jets. ? what will happen if the Rams and The Falcon become 4-12 and the Chiefs lose and they 4-12 so will get the 2nd overall pick.

Anonymous said...

If there no linemen that are very good I can see the chiefs go corner or trade down

Anonymous said...

dude james hardy will never make it in the nfl and he's absolutely never going to get drafted in the first round.

Well, I assume that this draft hasn't been updated since the season is over and the Rams have locked up the 2nd overall pick (this may sound bad, but im glad they lost...they were decimated by injuries this season and if they had finished 8-8, they wouldn't have been able to add an elite player, and not making the playoffs but ending up 8-8 is just a waste) I see the Rams either trading up for the #1 overall, and taking either Dorsey of LSU or Long from Michigan (Long fills a big need as the offensive line is continually injured...plus he will be able to step in and replace Barron at RT because I think that Barron did an excellent job picking up the slack after changing sides...) Also, I would love to see the Rams pick up Brennan or Dixon in the 2nd/3rd rounds...Bulger is a ridiculously talented QB, but he's injured a lot. There isn't a single QB in the League that is more accurate than Bulger (sry to you Tom Brady fans, but Brady has nothing on Bulger when it comes to accuracy...put Bulger on the Pats this year and you would have seen 60+ TD throws this year. Can't throw if you're always on your ass)
There is no way the Rams will take McFadden even if he is there at 2, which he most likely will be, because Steven "Action" Jackson has proven that he is one of the best RB in the league. DT is no longer a problem for the Rams with the pickup and excellent play of Carriker and the guy out of Michigan that they got in the 6th round last year, but if Dorsey is there, he's too much of a sure-fire prospect to pass up.
STL won't use their first rounder on a QB like Ryan or Brohm because that sends a message that they don't want to send, mainly that they are trying to rebuild and want a franchise QB. They don't need to rebuild. They have a franchise QB.
WR may be a possibility, but if the Rams feel that they will be best served with taking a WR, they will probably trade down and take Early Doucet or Desean Jackson, and pick up a couple of extra picks in the process.
That's just a few of my thoughts...let me know what you guys think.

yeah the guy that made this draft is my brother and he's been really busy lately. but he said he would update it really soon.

NE will not pass on Mcfadden if he is available. i don't think Mcfadden falls that far.

I think Atlanta picks mcfadden at 3 and picks up a QB in R2.

Baltimore needs a QB.

Anonymous said...

Jets picking 6th not 4th will take James Laurinatitis right out of the Pats plans...New England picking 7th will then turn for Dan Connor or trade the pick.

Anonymous said...

The Chiefs don't need a running back. They already have LJ.

Speaker for the Dead said...

I would love to see the Broncos get Connor...But they are selecting 12th not 15th!

Anonymous said...

I'm a 'Bama fan, and I don't see how D.J. Hall comes off the board in the first round, much less before Linas Sweed of Texas.

Anonymous said...

James Lauranitis isnt even in the draft he is coming back for another year at OHIO STATE where did you get your info from?

Anonymous said...
